I spoke with a good friend this morning, and she told me tragic news I can’t seem to shake.
The husband of one of her oldest friends got into his brown Mini Cooper and drove away from the home he and his wife built for their two small children. He didn’t tell anyone where he was going, and his disappearance ultimately led to the involvement of local law enforcement and news media in southern Indiana and northern Kentucky. His wife posted a heartbreaking plea on Facebook: this is my husband. He’s missing. He was upset and agitated and left indications that he may harm himself. Please, she begged. Walk your property. Search roads near your home. Bring him home. The post is accompanied by a photo of a smiling, handsome father holding his daughter.
This young man was missing for two days before his body was found today.
I don’t know this woman, but my heart breaks for her.
