Love my city.
This is moronic.
I’ll admit it: I absolutely love NPR’s “The Salt” blog. (Are you listening, Salt team?!) And while I failed to completely surrender to the hype surrounding AMC’s smashingly successful series Mad Men, I’ll admit I do love the show’s so-true-to-period dress, set design, and yes, food.
That’s why NPR hit the proverbial nail on the head with today’s piece The Mad World Of ‘Mad Men’ Food, which takes a quick look at a recently-released (and “unofficial”) cookbook patterned after some of the series’ most memorable meals (French toast with rum syrup, anyone?). Head on over to The Salt for more details.
